Is there a way for me to know whether or not I can accept cookies?
|
| |
Yes there is. To test whether or not your browser can accept cookies, click on the button below.

|

I have created an account for myself, but I can't get in, what's wrong?
|
| |
This can be caused by two different problems.
1.) There are two different sections of the Holistic Health Network, one
for students and others wishing to sign up to receive information
about teachers and practitioners in their area. The second is for teachers
and practitioners to sign up to have their information sent out to
the aforementioned students. If you are having difficulty signing
in, make sure that you signed up in the correct directory. Students
can sign in here,
while teachers can sign in here.
2.) Your browser must be set to accept cookies to be able to view
any of the password protected sections of the site. Cookies are small
files of information that are installed temporarily
on your computer to identify who you are to the system, so that other
people cannot access your membership information. These cookies never
contain any personal information and we do not keep or collect any
information from these files. If you are purposefully not accepting
cookies, your browser may have a way of letting you accept cookies
only for certain web sites. See the directions below on how to do
this.

I am using a Mac, and I am having trouble using the site. What is wrong?
|
| |
While we have
programmed this site to work across every popular browser and Operating
System, we have found that there may be an issue with Netscape Navigator
4.x and the Mac platform. We are currently working on a solution to
this problem, and hope to have a fix in the near future. In the meantime,
we suggest that you download the latest Internet Explorer for Mac
from the Microsoft
website. We are unaware of any problems with Internet Explorer
for the Mac. If you are still having difficulty navigating our website,
please email us at . Please
include what browser you are using, as well as the Operating System
you are using, (i.e., Mac, Windows 2000, 98, Linux, etc), as well
as the details of the problem. The more specific, the better.

How do I know what browser version I am using?
|
| |
Whether you are
using Netscape or Internet Explorer, finding your version is simple.
Click on the "Help" menu, and scroll down to the menu that says "about"
or "about Netscape". Internet Explorer will bring up a pop-up window
that will list the version number, and Netscape will bring up a web
page telling you the version number.
